Single-use disposable needles are inserted into “acupuncture points” on the body to activate the body’s natural healing response. Acupuncture is a safe treatment option and has the unique ability to promote relaxation, decrease pain, and enhance feelings of well-being through the release of endorphins (the body’s natural pain relieving hormones) in the body. Acupuncture can be used to treat a variety of conditions such as digestive disturbances, asthma or other respiratory conditions, menstrual problems, pain, arthritis, headache, cancer (supportive therapy), sleep disturbance, anxiety, depression, stress, and many more.

Your treatment will consist of a thorough health history, assessment, treatment, as well as possible TCM diet and lifestyle recommendations. In addition, other TCM therapies may be included in your treatment such as acupressure, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, and tui na.
